Stop by the Fishing Heritage Center for an outdoor performance of “Baile de la Conquista.” This traditional Mayan dance from Guatemala will take place in our parking lot. Masks and social distancing are required. Click here to learn more about this dance tradition.

This event takes place on September’s AHA! Night. It is part of our series of programs related to our latest exhibit, We Came to Fish, We Came to Work: Stories of Immigration. This exhibits explores stories of immigration and cultural heritage on New Bedford’s working waterfront.
