New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center and Foley Fish are partnering for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour and cooking demonstration at Foley’s facility in New Bedford! Take a small-group tour of their fish processing plant and learn how to be a savvy seafood buyer and evaluate quality like the professionals do. Then discover the “fundamentals” of cooking seafood in a cooking demo where you’ll learn how to perfectly sear a scallop, and properly prepare and pan roast a crispy skin-on fillet of fish. The demo will be followed by a tasting! Both the tour and demo will be led by executive chef (and Seafood Soirée favorite) Matthew Lerish. This is perfect for anyone interested in seafood, cooking, or the “boat to table” process.
