Ginny, who is 102, has been lobstering since she was eight years old. People often ask Ginny when she plans on retiring. She smiles and tells them, “When I die.”
The Lobster Lady book inspires people of all ages from five to 105, Walsh says. “Ginny’s message,” Walsh adds, “is keep moving and doing what you love.”
The Lobster Lady is Walsh’s sixth book. A long-time journalist, she enjoys writing true stories about special Maine people.
