Sunset Harbor Cruise to Benefit Center

New Bedford, MA – The New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center will host a sunset harbor cruise fundraiser aboard the M/V Cuttyhunk on Saturday, September 15th from 5:00 p.m. – 7 p.m. Passengers will enjoy live music, a cash bar and light refreshments. Musical entertainment will be provided by Art Tebbetts, New Bedford’s Troubadour.

Art Tebbetts has been part of the New Bedford music scene for more than 4 decades.  A singer and guitarist, his repertoire of music ranges from pop to rock n’ roll to folk music.  He can been seen on stages across the region, performing and emceeing as well as supporting up and coming musicians.  Art will be brushing off his maritime songs and providing attendees with a rich performance.

Tickets are $40 and may be purchased at the Center gift shop, by calling 508-993-8894, or online at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3596931. Cruise departs from the Cuttyhunk Ferry office at State Pier.  All proceeds will benefit the Center’s programs, exhibits, and daily operations.

Located at 38 Bethel Street in the heart of New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park, the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center is dedicated to preserving and presenting the story of the commercial fishing industry past, present, and future through archives, exhibits, and programs.
