Join us for our upcoming AHA! Night event!

FHC and UMASS Dartmouth’s School for Marine Science and Technology are partnering for a student research showcase! Visit the Center on Thursday, April 10, at 6pm to meet current SMAST students and learn about ongoing research impacting the commercial fishing industry. One hour program followed by a Q&A with presenters. 

About SMAST: Located on Clark’s Cove in New Bedford, the School for Marine Science and Technology is a nationally and recognized institution for education and research in marine science and ocean technology. SMAST is a collaborative community of dedicated students and expert faculty working together to address challenges in marine science while fostering a supportive and collegial environment. Over the years, SMAST students and researchers have worked closely with New Bedford’s commercial fishing fleet to keep our fisheries healthy and sustainable.
