Join us on Wednesday, April 15, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm at 874 Purchase Street in New Bedford and celebrate stories of Cuban, Puerto Rican, Cape Verdean, Vietnamese, Guatemalan, and Salvadoran members of New Bedford’s commercial fishing industry at New Bedford Community Health. Explore the Casting A Wider Net exhibit, decorate a scallop shell, watch a net mending demo, and enjoy delicious food. Admission is free, registration is encouraged through NB Community Health’s website.
