Lobster Days at FHC – Day 2

TIME: 11:00 am –
3:00 pm
COST: Free!

Lobster Days are back during February school vacation!

This family-friendly event is designed to educate the public and local youth about Massachusetts’ commercial lobster industry. Associated activities include demonstrations and talks by working lobstermen, story time, lobster-themed crafts, and more. Lobster Days 2025 will take place on Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Admission to the Center is free on both days of the event.

Local lobstermen Dave Casoni and Steve Holler of the Massachusetts Lobstermen’s Association will be on hand to answer questions about commercial lobstering and lead lobster biology demonstrations. Participating families will also be able to try their hand at making a lobster hand puppet, get their face painted, and enjoy lobster-themed stories throughout both days. We are partnering with Fisherman’s Market Seafood Outlet to offer an exclusive coupon redeemable in their seafood market as well as dockside vessel tours on Pope’s Island happening throughout the day! Check out the schedule of events below. All activities happening at FHC (38 Bethel Street) unless otherwise noted.

Lobster Days 2025 is made possible through the generous support of the Massachusetts Lobstermen’s Association, Fisherman’s Market Seafood Outlet, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
