Join us for a free story time at FHC!

Join us for a fun and engaging Story Time at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center! Each Wednesday at 11am, we’ll dive into a different story inspired by New Bedford’s working waterfront, fishing heritage, and ocean life. From colorful sea creatures to tales of fishermen, boats, and the harbor, every session offers something new to discover.

Children are encouraged to participate by asking questions, sharing their ideas, and even recommending books they’d like to read in future story times. We love making this a fun, interactive experience for curious young readers!

Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.

All children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult throughout the program.
