Did you know that bananas are bad luck on a boat? How about that saying the word “pig” is often taboo aboard a fishing vessel?
Join us at the Fishing Heritage Center to learn about fishing industry superstitions! Members of the fishing community will share stories about the unique superstitions that dictate lives both at sea and at home.

This event takes place on October’s AHA! Night and is free and open to the public.
